Weekend Sisters Gathering for Beneficial Knowledge

Alhamdulillah, Sis. Zahirah Ali will oragnise a sisters gathering to share the beauty of Islamic history - from the time of the beginning of creation; to Iblis & the reign of the Jinn over Earth; to the creation of Adam; to Adam & Eve being sent to Earth; to the children of Adam; to all the subsequent prophets & their respective histories; until we reach the Prophet sallallahu `alaihi wasallam, Insha'Allah, and his biography.

The textual source she will be reading from is Tarikh At-Tabari, a very famous 6-volume work called "The History of the Prophets & Kings" authored by a 9th Century Persian scholar/historian/Qur'anic exegete - Imam Abu Ja`far At-Tabari. The text is full of Qur'an & Hadith references to all the historic events mentioned, so Insha'Allah the participants will better understand many of the verses in the Qur'an pertaining to these historic events.

Sis. Zahirah will also take from other textual sources, Insha'Allah, to supplement At-Tabari's text. The gathering will be very informative & interesting, Insha'Allah, and not too intense for the mind, body & soul!
